Preseason Strength, Conditioning & Wrestling

AWC has a certified strength coach on staff who will be spending time in the weight room with 5th graders on up; teaching proper technique with an olympic lifting bar. True to form before weight. New lifters will start with a PVC pipe, build up to a 15lb trainers bar working up to the 45lb bar. Wrestlers will move up based on technique. The goal is to build up to a personal 3 - 5 rep max on foundational lifts then move to speed and agility training. Experienced lifters start where technique dictates. 

4th grade and below will be in the mat room working speed and agility exercises in a fun supervised environment.

Fees vary by age

August 22 - October 5th

Tuesdays and Thursdays 6-8pm

  • Dynamic Warm up
  • Age appropriate workouts
  • Wrestling Fundamentals
  • Cardio based games (time permitting)
